Gurdwara Sahib Darwin (SANTI)
The spiritual and cultural sanctuary for the Sikh community of the Northern Territory, fostering equality, selfless service, and truthful living.
Our Journey in the Top End
For many years, the Sikh community in Darwin gathered at borrowed halls, schools, and community centres to celebrate Gurpurbs, recite prayers, and share Guru ka Langar together.
Driven by a collective vision to establish a permanent spiritual and community anchor, the Sikh Association of Northern Territory Incorporated (SANTI) was formed. Through generous community contributions and dedicated Sewa, the community built the first dedicated Gurdwara Sahib in the Top End at 8 Earhart Court, Marrara.
Today, Gurdwara Sahib Darwin stands as an open sanctuary for all residents of the Northern Territory and travelers from across the world — open 365 days a year from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
